Common name: Verbascum white blush
Verbascum is a genus of over 450 species with the common name mullein. They are native to Europe and Asia. Most are biennial or perennial plants. Plants first form a dense rosette of leaves at ground level before sending up tall flowering stems. Flower colour in different species include yellow, orange, red-brown, purple, blue or white. Verbascum species are hardy plants, generally enjoying full sun and a tolerance to dry conditions.
V. blattaria f. albiflorum forms delicate airy flower stalks, of white with a pink blush. This variety is biennial, flowering in their second year. Summer to early autumn flowering.
