Freighting Plants

Please note: We have a minimum plant order of $35 (unless you are picking up plants).

Paying For Your Order

Freight costs are added after you have placed your order. Please note: Freight is added manually. We will send you a final invoice. Please don’t pay us until you receive the final invoice. Because we are a small family business with other commitments, this process can take up to 48 hours. Thank you for your patience.

Plants and freight must be paid for before plants are sent (which is every Tuesday) following receipt of payment.

A full box gives you best value for the freight costs, if you are unsure about how many plants will fit, we are happy to help. We will always try to fit plants into the cheapest option for you. Please contact us.

Plants ordered for pick up will receive a 10% discount (Discount does not apply to plants on sale). This will be calculated after you have placed your order, so please don’t pay us until you receive the recalculated invoice.

We are regularly adding new stock to our shop. If you are looking for a particular plant or see something in our social media posts that you like, please contact us and we will try to help.

Mailing Day 

Plants are usually sent on Tuesdays. Freight is generally overnight for the North Island and 2-3 days for the South Island. Please allow an extra 1-2 days for rural areas. Physical addresses only – no P.O. boxes. All our plants are shipped with Aramex.

Box Sizes

A bit about box sizes:

Mini: Holds up to 6 x 9cm pots, or 6 x 1-liter pots

Small: This will hold up to 16 x 9 cm pots or 12 x 1-liter pots.

tall:  priced as per the small but holds our taller plants. 

2 x PB5 plus 2 x 9cm, 1 liter or PB2

or 4 x PB2

Medium: These will fit up to

25 x 9 cm or 16 x 1-liter pots.

Freight Charges

Please add $7.80 per carton for rural addresses.

Hawke’s Bay Urban:

• All boxes $8 (Waipukurau to Wairoa).

North Island Urban:

All of the North Island outside Hawke’s Bay
