Description

Common names: Olive herb, Holy flax, Wadi tops

A dense compact evergreen shrub with fine vivid green foliage. In late spring and summer lemon button flowers provide seasonal interest. Plants are easily clipped. Santolina prefers full sun, and free-draining soil.

Plants are very fragrant and useful to deter moths in drawers, and as pain relief for insect bites. can also be used to add an olive flavour to cooking and drinks.
