Common Name: Prune Plum

Prune plums are varieties of plums-Prunus domestica– with high sugar levels, and are normally oval/egg shaped. The high sugar content makes Prune plums great for drying.

‘Stanley’ has gorgeous dark blue skin with golden flesh. It fruits mid-season and crops heavily. Fruit can be eaten fresh, though the flavour is improved when dried.

Our trees are grown from seed (Stones) collected at “Guthrie Smith” arboretum at Tutira. These trees bear huge crops.
