Common name: giant rusty foxglove

A hardy perennial with stunning architectural flower stalks up to 160 cm. The tubular flowers are a gorgeous golden brown with a darker rusty throat. Flower stalks arise from a basal rosette of Green deeply veined leaves. Plants can be short lived but will self-seed readily.

Summer flowering and regular dead heading will encourage more blooms. Plants will handle sun but thrive best in a semi shady spot with good drainage and average to drier soils. They can be used as cut flowers.
