Description
Common names: garden speedwell, long-leaf speedwell
A herbaceous perennial that is hardy to both heat and cold, it is native to Europe and western Asia. The plant forms tidy mounds of soft green narrow leaves with toothed edges. Gorgeous upright spikes of lilac blue flowers can grow to 90 cm. It will flower profusely through summer. Plants will grow in sun or part shade and prefer reasonably moisture retentive soils. Flowers are attractive to a range of pollinators.
