Common names: Satin flower, Pale-yellow-eyed-grass
Satin flower forms upright tufts of sword-like green leaves. During late spring tall spikes of small creamy yellow flowers with golden centers are produced. Plants naturalize easily in full sun or part shade.
When flowering has finished plants produce attractive black seed pods. Plants are hardy, and happy in average to poor soils with good drainage. Some drought tolerance for established plants.
