Pincushion flowers of the most striking deepest maroon black make this plant a must have for any sunny border. The stamens are the softest lilac making an unusual contrast. Long flowering throughout summer with the cone shaped seedheads adding autumn interest.
Plants are usually treated as annuals but here they behave as short term perennials and will also self-seed. great for attracting pollinators and as cut flowers.
