Common Name: Cotton lavender

This Tomentosa subspecies has a more compact form and softer yellow flowers than usual Santolina chamaecyparissus.Tiny soft silvery grey leaves cover Santolina all year. A favourite for Mediterranean gardens, where it teams well with lavenders. Tiny yellow button flowers smother the plant through summer. benefits from a regular trim. thrives on low fertility in free draining soils and full sun.
