Description
Common name: Galpin red-hot poker
The Galpin red-hot poker is native to Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) and South Africa. It forms hardy grass like clumps of foliage with spikes of yellow-orange flowers from mid to late summer. These are seed grown so expect some variation in colour. Though most seem to be predominantly in the salmon – orange rather than bright orange. Easy to grow in full sun and average to fertile soils.
