Description
Common name: Cranesbill geranium, Hardy geranium
Geranium is a genus of annual, biennial, and perennial plants found throughout the temperate regions of the world. Flowers are typically 5 petaled and come in a range of colours in white, pink, purple and blue. The common name cranesbill comes from the beak like stigma that forms to disperse the seed (fruits). They are also sometimes referred to as hardy geraniums to separate them from Pelargonium – which were originally classified in the same genus.
Geranium ‘Vision Light Pink’ has the most exquisite shell pink delicate looking petals with slightly darker pink veins. The leaves of this geranium are deeply divided, and plants form low mounds of foliage. Flowering from early spring through summer.
